Namely, Croatia ratified the ICZM Protocol on 12 October 2012 and would like to push for its implementation.<\/p>\n<p>The first task for Croatia would be the development of the national ICZM Strategy. Since Croatia has been preparing its Marine Strategy, as required by the EU MSFD, the Croatian Ministry of Environmental and Nature Protection decided to join the two strategic initiatives and to prepare a single document for its Adriatic Region \u2013 a Marine and Coastal Strategy.
