The Inter-ministerial committee, created for the preparation of the Croatian Coastal and Marine Strategy, is composed of more than 50 representatives of different ministries, institutes and agencies dealing with coastal and marine issues. On this occasion the following was presented: the results of the DIVA assessment of the damage caused by sea-level rise for Croatia; assessment of costs due to climate change for the \u0160ibenik-Knin County; and Initial assessment of the state of the terrestrial part of the coastal zone. The meeting was introduced to the theme by Mr. Kre\u0161o Pand\u017ei\u00e6, Deputy Director of the Meteorological and Hydrological Service of Croatia. Representatives of the Croatian Waters contributed to the meeting by presenting their activities relevant to the obligations of the flood risk management according to the EU Flood Directive. The participants provided some clarifications, which were used to improve the results of the studies.
