During the week of October 23 to 27, an Algerian delegation composed of representatives of the Ministry of the Environment and Renewable Energy, the Ministry of Fisheries and Fisheries Production and the Coastal Commission at the national level as well as at the regional, traveled to Split in order to study how integrated management was implemented in Croatia. For the organization of this trip, the GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit) was able to count on the support of PAP\/RAC which planned the meetings with the most relevant stakeholders of the county as well as neighboring regions. Thus, the delegation was able to learn more about the coastal plans of Sibenik \u2013 Knin, Kastela as well as Splitsko \u2013 Dalmatinska through meetings with stakeholders involved in their development, but also in their implementation. Very quickly, the study trip transformed into an exchange of good practices, with Croatian stakeholders wishing to learn more about the rich Algerian legal framework. This visit also contributed to achieving several objectives of the MedProgramme of the Global Environment Facility, particularly in terms of capacity building and raising awareness of the importance of the ratification of the ICZM Protocol by Algeria.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":6359,"parent":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-5162","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
