{"id":5245,"date":"2025-10-28T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.paprac.org\/news\/seadito-partner-meeting-in-santander\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T12:14:57","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T12:14:57","slug":"seadito-partner-meeting-in-santander","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/staging.paprac.org\/hr\/novosti\/seadito-partner-meeting-in-santander\/","title":{"rendered":"SEADITO Partner meeting in Santander"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During the week 14-16 October 2025, the SEADITO partners convened in Santander, Spain, hosted by our partner<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/104647123\/admin\/page-posts\/published\/?share=true\"> IHCantabria<\/a> for the third in-person project meeting \u2013 a key moment to reflect on the first year of work and align next steps toward delivering robust social-ecological models for integration into the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/edito-dto\/\">EDITO \u2013 European Digital Twin Ocean<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>DAY ONE focused on updates from all regional and pan-European case studies, with presentations highlighting completed stakeholder workshops, problem definitions, and scenario aims. Human-marine environment interactions resulted as a central theme across the project cases. The day concluded with a presentation by @SINTEFocean on how SEADITO\u2019s socio-ecological models align with broader EU DTO initiatives such as <a href=\"https:\/\/seadito.eu\/the-seatwins-cluster\/\">SeaTwins<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/dto-bioflow.eu\/\">DTO-BioFlow<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surimi-project.eu\/\">SURIMI<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ecotwinproject.eu\/\">EcoTwin<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/seadots-project.eu\/\">SEA DOTS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>DAY TWO advanced our modelling tools and integration strategies. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/hcmr-institute-of-oceanography\/\">HCMR \u2013 Institute of Oceanography<\/a> opened with a presentation on the challenge of integrating qualitative data from concept maps into fuzzy cognitive maps (FCMs). Followed by a methodology session to ensure consistent FCM use across all case studies. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/syke\/\">Finnish Environment Institute (Syke) <\/a>introduced Bayesian networks for evaluating environmental and economic goals, and also spoke about the SEADITO Explorer and What-If Scenarios Toolkit, featuring 3D visualisations, tale maps, extended reality tools, and interactive storytelling platforms.
