National Focal Points

Coastal and marine policy moves forward through regional commitments and through the institutions who turn these commitments into national action.

Collaboration through our network of National Focal Points (NFPs) is vital for translating shared Mediterranean priorities into country-level implementation of the ICZM Protocol.

Each NFP is the main point of connection between their country – as a Contracting Party to the Barcelona Convention – and PAP/RAC, contributing to and supporting technical, expert and administrative activities that support ICZM implementation on the ground.
